THE FINAL BEGONIA FESTIVAL!!

Labor Day Weekend – September 1st – 4th, 2017

This weekend the City will host the 65th, and last Begonia Festival.  Sunday’s Nautical Parade will be the largest in years with eleven floats already signed up to join. Come down early to get the best viewing.

As a reminder, the trestle will not be available as a viewing location for the Begonia Festival Nautical Parade scheduled for Sunday, Sept 3rd from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.  Police officers will be assigned to trestle entry points to remind spectators of this restriction.

Capitola Art & Wine Festival -

Saturday Sep 9, 2017 – Sunday Sep 10, 2017

The Capitola Art & Wine Festival combines Art, Wine, Music and Food, all in charming Capitola Village overlooking the beautiful Monterey Bay. Over 150 fine artists and 22 Santa Cruz Mountains wineries will participate in this year’s Festival. Be sure to visit the Local Artisans Marketplace where you will find unique and locally made artisan foods and crafts. A Kids Art & Music Area with ongoing craft projects and musical play is conveniently located in the center of the Festival on Lawn Way. Enjoy great entertainment all weekend including local dance and performing arts groups, street performers The Great Morgani and The Surfing Magician, and live music to include Extra Large, The Lost Boys featuring James Durbin, and The Fundamentals.
